Things to Look for When Designing Immersive Simulations
A deep dive into the ergonomic and cognitive factors that define next-generation aviation training.

Cognitive Load in Virtual Environments
Designing simulation environments for flight training is not simply about high-fidelity graphics. High visual fidelity without cognitive matching can lead to simulation sickness and negative training transfer. Designers must focus on visual-vestibular alignment and the ergonomics of control feedback to ensure real-world readiness.

Visual Fidelity
We utilized photogrammetry and CAD data to create a sub-millimeter accurate 'Digital Twin' of the aircraft engine. This allows trainees to inspect parts, read serial numbers, and perform maintenance procedures in a completely safe virtual environment.
